m. A healer, Saviour, Jesus :-- Se Hǽlend ðe is genemned Crist Iesus qui vocatur Christus, Mt. Bos. 1, 16. Ðú nemst hys naman Hǽlend. Hé sóþlíce hys folc hál gedéþ fram hyra synnum vocabis nomen ejus Iesum; ipse enim salvum faciet populum suum a peccatis eorum, 1, 16.
