Morþ-cræft

Bosworth & Toller Anglo-Saxon Old English Dictionary - morþ-cræft

According to the Old English Dictionary:

(?)

morþ-cræft
deadly art:-- Hwæt is seó micele miht þínre morð-cræfte, ꝥ þú þyllic gefremast þurh feóndlicne drýcræft, Hml. S. 35, 173. [As cræft is regularly masculine perhaps morþdǽde (see next word) should be read here, cræfte having been taken owing to the neighbouring drýcræft.]
