m. One who exacts toll :-- Ic him álýfde alle nédbáde tuegra sceopa, ða ðe ðǽr ábǽdde beóþ from ðǽm nédbáderum in Lundentúnes hýðe, and nǽfre ic ne míne lástweardas ne ða nédbáderas geþrístlǽcen ðæt heó hit onwenden, Chart. Th. 29, 7-14.
