pl. f. passione a passage from that part of the Gospels which deals with Christ's passion :-- Éghwelc messeprióst gesinge fore Ósuulfes sáwle twá messan, and aeghwilc diácon áréde twá passione fore his sáwle, C. D. i. 293, 32. passion
