m. A slip, fall; lapsus, Ælfc. Gr. 11; Zup. 79, 9. I. of an actual slip :-- Ðá wearþ mé slide and ic him (the horse) of áfeóll lapsus decidi. Bd. 5, 6; S. 619, 18.
