According to the Old English Dictionary:

I. add :-- Be ðǽm wæs swíðe wel gecweden ðurh ðone wítgan ... ðǽ cwæð se wítga unde bene per prophetam dicitur, Past. 409, 33. II, add :-- Him þá etendum, Mk. 14, 22.
