adj. Addicted to thought, acute :-- Cild ácenned (born on the sixteenth day of the moon) þancul (efficax; cf. scearpþancfullíce efficaciter, Scint. 206, 14; and see scearpþanclíce), staþolfæst, Lchdm. iii. 192, 8. Saga, þoncol mon, hwá mec bregde of brimes fæþmum, Exon. Th. 382, 17; Rä. 3, 12.
