According to the Old English Dictionary:

In the first passage þúsendfealdgetæl should be read, as after þæt the declension would be definite and the form would be þúsendfealde. Cf. hundfeald-getel. Add :-- Þúsendfealde milleni, Ælfc. Gr. Z. 284, 15. þusend-feald
