to-swápan

p. -sweóp To disperse by a sweeping movement, to sweep apart or away :-- Se ðone líg tósceáf, tósweóp hine and tóswende þurh ða swíðan miht he thrust back the flame on every side, swept and dashed it away by his strong might, Cd.
