- a double portion, two parts out of three :-- Dō gegrundenne pipor on, and cropleác, hwǣtenes melwes twidǣl swilce dæs pipores twice as much wheaten meal as pepper, two parts of meal to one of pepper, Lchdm. ii. 52, 22. Genim heorotcrop and saluian, bewyl twydǣl on wætre boil away two parts out of three, 50, 12. Cf. twǣde. twi-dæl
