twilíc-brocen
adj. Woven of double thread and parti-coloured (?) or embroidered (?) :-- Hió becwið hyre twilíbrocenan cyrtel, Chart. Th. 537, 23. [Cf. (?) Swed. brokig: Dan. broget parti-coloured. Jamieson gives brocked, broukit, broked variegated, having a mixture of black and white. Cf. (?)
