- n. The fine for allowing a culprit to escape (cf. L. In. 36; Th. i. 124, 14) :-- Úðleáp, Chart. Th. 411, 30: 359, 3 (printed -leaw). The word occurs in a list of privileges granted by the king. ut-hleap
