p. ode To be (good or bad) weather :-- Cweðaþ sume men, ðæt se móna hine wende be ðan ðe hit wuderian (wedrian, widrian) sceal on ðam mónðe; ac hine ne went náðor ne weder ne unweder of ðam ðe him gecynde ys, Lchdm. iii. 268, 2. [Icel. viðra to be such and such weather.]
