p. wrang, pl. wrungon; pp. wrungen To wring, (1) to twist: -- Teóh him ða loccas, and wringe ða eáran, and ðone wangbeard twiccige, Lchdm. ii. 196, 13. (2) to squeeze out moisture from something :-- Ic nam ða wínberian and wrang on ðæt fæt tuli uvas et expressi in calicem, Gen. 40, 11. Genim ðære ylcan wyrte leáf, ðonne heó grénost beó, wyl on wætere, and wring ðæt wós, Lchdm. i. 72, 7. Wring ðæt seáw, ii. 110, 26: 240, 8. Ne miht ðú wín wringan on midne winter.
