m. A bearer of wood :-- Wuderas calones (the passage is : Ejusdem militiae calones et clientes cum lixarum coetibus ad inferiorem gradum pertinentes, Ald. 13. In another gloss on the same passage is the note : Calones sunt qui ligna militibus portant, Hpt. Gl. 427, 4), Wrt. Voc. ii. 76, 72 : 17, 73. Wudu silva, wudieras calones, i. 33, 55.
