pp. ed To crowd about, surround in crowds, assail :--Ymbhípan (printed -hiwan) constipari, Wrt. Voc. ii. 23, 21. Ðá wæs hé sóna ǽghwanon mid wǽpnum ymbhýped cam max ubique gladiis impeterelur, Bd. 2, 9 ; S. 511, 25.
