f. A raised place, (1) a look-out place :-- Yppe vel weardsteal spectacula, Wrt. Voc. i. 39, 35. (2) a stage, platform :-- Glígmanna yppe orcestra vel pulpitus, Wrt. Voc. i. 39, 36.
