Randbyrig (the walls formed by the waters of the Red Sea when the Israelites passed through it) wǽron rofene were riven (when the Egyptians attempted to cross), Cd. Th. 207, 7; Exod. 463. Or are the walls formed by the water compared to the arrangement of the line of battle when the shields overlapped, called scild-burh q.
