Add: I. intrans. To be or to become good, be prosperous. Cf. gód; III. 1. (1) with a noun as subject :-- Eówer kynedóm gódað þurh heora gódan geearnunga. Hml. S. 5, 444. Hié beóð suíðe ungesǽlige, ðonne hié yfeliað for ðǽm ðe óðre menn gódigað (gódiað, ) quantae infelicitatis sint, qui melioratione proximi deteriores fiunt, Past. 231, 19.
