móraþ

n. A drink formed by boiling down and sweetening wine (with mulberries), a decoction of wine and herbs :-- Móraþ carenum (cf. carenum æþele alu, ii. 23, 1), Wrt. Voc. i. 27, 64. Ne ete fersce gós . . . ne fersc swín ne náht ðæs ðe of mórode cums. Gif hé hwilc ðissa ete síe ðæt sealt do not let him eat fresh goose or fresh pork or aught of that which comes out of a decoction of wine and herbs (has been cooked with wine and herbs?).
