Ger. gabet : Ger. gebet.] I. a prayer, petition, supplication; ōrātio, prĕces, supplĭcātio :-- Gebéd mín on bósme mínum sý gecyrred ōrātio mea in sĭnum meum convertētur, Ps. Spl. 34, 16.
