D. 44, 2. Hí þanon gangende gewídmǽrodon (diffamaverunt, v. Mt. 9, 31 (the passage quoted), where the word is translated gewídmǽrsudim. To the same passage belongs the gloss gewídmǽrdan (gewídmǽrsan, 26, 32) difamavenmt, Wrt. Voc. ii. 72, 41) hine geond eal ꝥ land, 60, ll.
