The word intended seems to be one corresponding to Icelandic þerra, which, as well as the form mundlaug, the equivalent of the rather uncommon mundleów, the modern version in that language uses in this passage) mid ðý líne, ðe hé wæs begyrded, Homl. Ass. 155, 103. þæran
