S. 33, 203 the word seems neuter), (1) bearing pain, & c., endurance, bearing patiently, forbearance. v. for-beran (3), for-byrdig :-- Ðæt hí beóð on ǽlengum ðingum and on ǽlcre longunge geðyldige and on forebyrde eáðmóde patientiae longanimitate humiles, Past. 41, 17.
