- p. ode To perish, be lost, stray, escape :-- 'Drihten ic losige.' Cweþ 'ic losige' ðý læs ðe ðú losige 'Lord, I perish.' Say 'I perish,' lest thou perish, Homl. Th. ii. 394, 1-2.
