but ceás and ceást are both fem.) Absence of quarrel, inhostility :-- Se ðe þeóf slihð hé mót áðe gecýðan ðæt hé hine fleóndne for þeóf slóge, and ðæs deádan mǽgas him swerian unceáses (-ceástes, MS.
