adv. I. immoderately, out of measure :-- Seó wydewe mænigfealde sceattas hyre unmǽðlíce beád (was immoderate in her offers), Homl. Skt. i. 2, 147. Hé hét ðone bisceop unscrýdan and unmǽðlíce (or II) swingan, ii. 29, 231. II. inhumanely.
