f. [ge, þeódnes, -nys a joining]. I. a joining, juncture, joint; junctio, junctura, compages :-- Seó geþeódnes ðæs heáfdes tobrocen wæs the joining of the head was broken, Bd. 5, 6; S. 619, 24.
