I. to shoot forward, to rush or dart forward with a quick motion, send forth, expend, pay, to fall to any one's share, be allotted to; cum impetu movere vel ruere, expendere, cedere in partem alicujus :-- Draca hord eft gesceát, dryhtsele dyrne the dragon again darted to his hoard, his secret hall, Beo.
