f. A wish, desire, longing, seeking, appetite, will, vow; concŭpiscentia, desīdĕrium, ambĭtus, appĕtītus, affectus, vōtum :-- Gewilnung ambĭtus, Ælfc. Gr. 30, 5; Som. 35, 10.
