Take here ge-hȳrsumnes in Dict. , and add: (1) obedience :-- Getīdige ūs God ꝥ wē magon eów secgan his lāre, and eów gehȳrsumnysse ꝥ gē dā lāre āwendon tō weorcum, Hml. A. 12, 310. Hwæder hē carfull sig tō godcundum weorcum and tō gehȳrsumnysse si solicitus est ad opus Dei, ad obedientiam, R. Ben. 96, 17.
