Add: -- Þæt hió gebǽdde compellere, Wrt. Voc. ii. 95, 16. Gebǽded actus, 89, 69: 5, 50 : compulsus, 14, 55. Ðonne sió sául hire unðonces gebǽdd wierð (urgetur) ðæt yfel tó forlǽtanne, Past. 251, 13. ¶ where the compelling cause is given :-- Hé wæs gebǽded for neódþearfa swá myccles plyhtes tanta periculi necessitate compulsus, Gr.
