ge-synto
Add; I. of physical soundness, (1) of persons :-- Ic wéne ꝥ hé wǽre biddende ðá upplican árfæstnesse mínra gesynta pro mea, ut reor, sospitate supernae pietati supplicans. Bd. 5, 6; Sch. 578, 23. (2) of things :-- Hé þone tóbrocenan calic þǽre ǽrran gesynto eft ágeaf fractum calicem pristinae incolumitati restituit, Gr. D. 50, 2. II. of favourable condition :-- Eála sé bið ofersǽlig sé þe mid gesyntum swylce cwyldas and wítu mæg wel forbúgon felix o nimium qui illas effugiet poenarum prospere clades, Dóm. L. 248. [O. H.
