L. 47, 13. Stépplum, 121, 7. ¶ used figuratively of distinguished work :-- Ic worhte ǽnne stýpel (the reference is to a conversion effected by the speaker), and þú cwyðst ꝥ ic sceolde sylf hine tówurpan, Hml. S. 36, 375. v. steáp. stipel
