f. Sluggishness of disposition, slowness, dullness :-- Oft mon biþ suíðe wandigende æt ǽlcum weorce and suíðe lætrǽde, and wénaþ menn ðæt hit sié for suármódnesse and for unarodscipe, and biþ ðeáh for wisdóme and for wærscipe (but the Latin is : Saepe agendi tarditas gravitatis consilium putatur), Past. 20; Swt. 149, 15. swærmodness
