- p. -sirwde, -sirede. I. to deliberate about an evil deed :-- Swá micel tósceád is betwuh ðære beðóhtan synne, ðe mon longe ymbsireþ, and ðære ðe mon fæacute;rlíce ðurhtiéhð, swá ðætte se se ðe ða synne gesireþ, ǽgðer ge gesyngaþ ge eác hwílum on ormódnesse gewít. . .
